I have found this to often be critical except for circular fisheye
images
where I can identify the center accurately. In your case, 40 pixels
isn't
a lot compared to the image dimensions, yet leads to quite significant
errors if uncorrected. In 35mm images, there is usually additional shift
error due to the scanning process.

PTStitcher uses the first 'o' line in the script for single image
conversions. Therefor, unless you edit the script file, all 3 images
will be warped according to the optimizers results for the first
image, which is probably not what you want.
