The archive, codebase etc tags are not programmed into PTViewer but are
general applet tags like width and height. If they don't work
with PTViewer, they won't work with any other applet.
All file accesses by applets are subject to security
restrictions which vary among browsers. These are
particularly severe for accesses to your local disk.
On my local drive and using Netscape, PTViewer (as
well as the LivePicture viewer) only work if html and jar-file
are in the same directory. This is not required if run
from a remote www-server. MRJ is less restrictive. There
is nothing I can do about this.
