To get the file size you could look at the properties (Windows)
or probably 'Get Info' (Mac). Look for the number of bytes.
'psize' doesn't seem to cause a problem as long as you get it right.
However, it seems to be causing slow download on Win IE 5
if you leave the param out all together.
Then, if you set it too small, you get artifacts at the bottom of you pano.
Plus, you would think it might be slowing the download slightly (?)
Seems like a better way of doing this might be to use a Java i/o method
to check the filesize before the download (if that's possible).
On the other hand, if the download status isn't going to show up in the
applet window, why bother with this at all? Most users only look there.
Personally, I prefer to use an animated GIF instead.
