Some browser problems in Win2k. Who shares those?

I got a few weird things with PTViewer, and 1.0 didn't fix them.
(1) IE5 in Win2000: if the applet is auto-rotating, then doing anything that
causes the applet to reload a few (6 or 7) times in a row will invariably
freeze the whole browser at one point, which then has to be killed in the
Windows Task Manager.
When auto-rotating is always stopped before reloading the applet, this
problem doesn't happen. Also NS4 doesn't exhibit this problem.
(2) Netscape 4.05 in Win2000.
After sequentially loading a few different panoramas into the same frame, I
systematically get out of memory errors:
Applet PTV java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
Clicking the Reload button then clears the problem for a little while.
Netscape is the only thing running on my computer with 192 MB RAM, so
there's enough RAM for it.
IE5 doesn't exhibit this problem.
PS. My psize is exactly right, the pano is 112078 bytes.
