Ken Turkowski has some good examples of HFOV > 360. There are a couple of
2500 degree (yes, 2500!) spiral panos on his site.
I've done them in cars before - one rotation with the doors closed, one open
(for example), then stitch the lot as a single 720 degree shot and you get
this weird kind of "hey, that wasn't like that just now" effect...
I recommend that you try the Marathon infinity network game level called
"5-D space" which will truly warp your mind - Several different rooms
occupying the same space simultaneously...
