I like using all the space possible for the image. How about
if you (gummyone or Helmut) make a "compass" image that
looks like a filler for the bar that you load if you want to
fill in the center space?

	-- when the mouse is released. I agree that constant
compass movement would be nicer. But if java is anything
like QTVR, the compass will slow down performance,
especially animated GIFs or anything else needing the CPU. I
had to stop using a mapsaVR compass in some QTVRs for that
reason. I like this solution, people can learn how to use it
pretty quickly, I believe, or hope. 

By the way, what happened to #9 of the changes list? Picky picky...
