proj-imim: Wrap point not wrapping, PTPicker. Terence 2000-May-27 11:39:06
Goodmorning
I have been working with PTPicker for a few days now and my results
are becoming pretty usable but i the panos are not wrapping ie joining
properly is this something that i can influence, i have noticed it once or
twice when i have been doing manual stitching but that was always my
fault, with these PTPicker shots i simply flattened and viewed with the
PTviewer.

Could somebody also point me to the docs showing how to optimise for
straight vertical or horizontal lines.

You can use the optimizer of 'Panorama Tools' to find these values. If you
specify 't1' in the script line describing the coordinates of a feature
point, only the horizontal coordinates of the points are optimized. If you
choose points at the bottom and top of a vertical line, this line will then
be vertical in your panorama. Using 't2' optimizes vertical coordinates, ie
if you can identify a horizon in your image, you can force this to be level.
All types of feature points can be mixed in one script.

Sorry, this feature is not yet documented but it works since version 1.5. It
can also be used to determine lens correction parameters by forcing bend
lines (eg barrel distortions) to become straight.

Can these t lines be incorporated in PTPicker
