It could have been a good solution, but it locks Communicator on Mac that
will only play the gif and will not load the applet !
If we (Helmut ·) find a solution, i can give the file to Helmut to
distribute it with the Applet
Other problem, you need to trim it to your applet window size, and to the
average download time you imagine.
My was test set to 70 secondes (35 steps of 2 secondes), an average
download time for 120/140 ko files, but for smaller files it should be
less.
Anyway the results will not be the same on a T1 and a 28.8 modem so ·
