Hi Helmut and list members
  Some wishes for PTViewer -
- on Explorer5 (Win98 and NT4) mouse drag works outside window
but not with Netscape4.7 - it would be good if it worked
with Netscape despite the problem you mention with multiple windows

- the combined mouse/ctrl.shft zoom effect is confusing I reckon -
the standard way is better

- I was wondering how difficult it would be to have a
no warp and partial correction option as in Quicktime3 and earlier
- this might give a performance increase where full correction
isnt need
Partial correction is an excellent option for cylindrical panos
of city scenes and architecture- the IBM
applet uses partial correction in non-spherical mode I think
but there is a problem with the way they implement it
(same problem with their original plugin version) so that
with vertically wide scenes there is a black arc top and bottom
center frame - with partial correction there is no tilt except in
the form of a vertical shift in the view - like a asymetric cropping

On WinNT4 (my faster machine - PentiumIII450) speed is excellent
with Explorer, a little slower with Netscape

cheers
