Hello,
I was just playing around with some pseudo VR using Flash:

It's not half bad, except for the fact that it doesn't
unwarp images - so you're stuck with cylindrical images
with a small field of view if you want them to look natural.
However, it does have the added benefits of sound
and animation that are built into Flash.
It's certainly no replacement for Helmut's spherical viewer,
but I suppose it has it's place...
Now then, if all of these features were in one viewer we
might have something revolutionary! Someday...
