I agree with you entirely, I guess it depends on what kind of pano you
are shooting. The Sigma 8mm gives me more than enough resolution for
web quicktimes, if I were wanting a higher resolution lens for
multi-row panos then the full frame 16mm would be the way to go.
Yes and thank you for the xmp file, I have been using it and it works.
 I do notice that the ACR preview for the raw file does not match the
processed image, well not on my system.
I have not done any pano's over the last few days since I upgraded to
a Pentium D dual processor system, what a difference, whilst Stitcher
and Ptgui do not use multiple processors, it does mean that I can use
my system whilst PTGUI is doing it's work.

I have tried the online files from Argos with the tilted head, it
works really well...I am considering building and rotator based on
Mike Toby's design.
