PTviewer applet & HTML tables

Hi folks... Could someone explain to me what the best way to use Helmut's java version of PTviewer within a table? I've tried just having the applet within the cell, doesn't seem to work. I've noticed sometimes javascript is included in the head info, do

Panorama tutorial

Hi everybody ! I just uploaded on my web site (http://philohome.free.fr) a tutorial about creating panoramas with PanoramaTools/Photoshop from fisheye images. I tried to be clear, but I probably overexplained a few things and took for granted other point

Slow image download in PTViewer/IE

I have the following theory about this problem: To remove the image size limit in Netscape, I am loading the panoramic image in chunks of 500k Pixels. On IE this results in several downloads of the whole image file. Eg, if the image is downloaded in 3 ch

A True Believer... Finally!

As you may recall from my previous postings, I'm interested in large, hires panos created from 3-4 4x5 originals for output as LightJet prints. For what it's worth, I just wanted to report on my recent experiments with Panorama Tools. Since January when

48-bit Color

Helmut... I read that PTStitcher supports 48-bit color. I have my original negatives scanned at 48-bits. I color correct them in PhotoShop at 48-bits, and then convert the files to 24-bits in order to perform further manipulations. Is there any benefit

Re: coolpix 950 AElock

Hi Philo, I've already upgraded, thanks anyways for the advice. BTW since you posted your virtual tripod method I've used it to shoot all my panos. It works great. Thank you. You can see some of them at www.torontour.com/sights.htm I'd also like t

Re: coolpix 950 AElock

Your problems (and by-pass method) are quite symptomatic of a 1.1 firmware... I think you should upgrade - at least it works fine for me. Extracted from Nikon website http://www.nikontechusa.com/950update.htm: Confirming the current firmware version 1.
