I remember seeing an old ipix rotator gadget, much like the mrotatorb
from agnos but for the sigma 8mmm lens on a film camera. Similar to
the one bophoto.com makes out of wood but with 180 degree clickstops.
If for no other reason than you can have a go and see if you can now
make a pano out of two shots only. A nasty tide mark I imagine but
should be possible to get it to work, just, if you are very
precise/lucky, I dare you.
