I remember seeing a download page where the Yahoo search bar was
offered as a separate install. You had a choice. With Quicktime you
have to uninstall iTunes afterwards - no choice.
There is also a Macromedia page where you can download and install
just the plugin of ~ 2.5 MB:
http://sdc.shockwave.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi
At least that is what it looks like (shockwave_installer_slim.exe).
Whatever the case may be, as far as I remember you are given a choice
about the yahoo bar.
Immervision is a very nice viewer, but java needs to be enabled and on
many XP SP2 machines it has been disabled in the browser AFAIK.
